Spondyloarthritisis a type of inflammatory arthritis that primarily affects the spine and, in some cases, the joints of the arms and legs. The term encompasses a group of inflammatory diseases that share common genetic, clinical and radiographic features. Spondyloarthritis can cause significant disability and impair quality of life if not treated adequately.
